It is said that “Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”, and it is with this mission that we laid the foundation of Kashi Sahodaya School Complex. A group of visionary principals came together at Uday Pratap Public School, Varanasi under the leadership of Mrs. Sangeeta Kumar to create a collaborative educational movement. Inspired by CBSE educational reforms, Kashi Sahodaya has now become a strong fraternity of educators working together to support teachers, students, and schools across Varanasi.

The Rights and Responsibilities of the General Body

Approval of Annual Reports and Accounts

The General Body has the right and responsibility to review and approve the society's annual report and financial statements, ensuring accountability and transparency in how funds are used.

Amendment of Rules and Regulations

The General Body may propose and approve changes to the society’s rules and regulations as needed, ensuring the organization’s governance stays effective and relevant to current needs.

Election and Removal of Office Bearers

It is the duty of the General Body to elect members to the Management Committee. The body also holds the power to pass a no-confidence motion and remove any office bearer if deemed necessary for the better functioning of the society.

Performing Other Duties in the Interest of the Society

The General Body can take up any additional tasks or decisions deemed necessary for the growth, sustainability, and welfare of the society, acting as its ultimate governing authority.

Review and Approval of Management Committee’s Work

The General Body is responsible for evaluating and approving the activities and decisions of the Management Committee from time to time, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and public interest.

Discussion and Approval of Key Proposals

The General Body plays a vital role in discussing major proposals and initiatives. It can pass resolutions and take decisions that help the society fulfill its stated objectives and mission.
